DIE BAND:
Der Bandname 'THE GOLD MINERS' steht für unser Bemühen, echte Goldstücke der jüngeren Musikgeschichte auszugraben und entsprechend 'glänzend' zu präsentieren. Wir machen rein akustische Musik (unplugged) vorwiegend aus den 60er und 70er Jahren aber auch aktuellere Songs in originalgetreuen oder auch in eigenen, experimentellen Coverversionen. Wir legen Wert auf hochwertigen, mehrstimmigen Chorsatzgesang und handwerklich gut gemachte Performance. Unser Publikum kann einen entspannten Abend mit Klassikern aus der Jugendzeit aber auch mit musikalischen Überraschungen zum Mitsingen oder einfach nur zum Zuhören erwarten. Die Bandbreite der Musiker erstreckt sich vom Jazz über Folk, Rhythm and Blues bis zum Rock. Alle haben bereits langjährige Banderfahrung und spiel(t)en noch in anderen regional bekannten Gruppierungen.
HISTORIE:
Michael traf bei einer Foto-Ausstellung in 2014 auf seinen alten Bekannten Bernd. Das Gespräch kam irgendwie auf die Musik und man verabredete sich zunächst einmal unverbindlich zum 'Klampfen'. Das Duo nahm sich anfangs Dylan- und Beatles-Songs vor. Das Zusammenspiel und der zweistimmige Gesang machten Spaß und man wagte sich an weitere Klassiker von Simon and Garfunkel, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young oder den Kinks. Johannes stieß aus der Jazzszene hinzu und ergänzte die Besetzung mit seinem virtuosen Gitarren-, Geigen- und Bassspiel. Erste kleine, erfolgreiche Auftritte auf Ausstellungen und runden Geburtstagen bestätigten das Konzept. Michi erweiterte als Irish-Folk-Sängerin und vielseitige Instrumentalistin das Repertoire erheblich. Der mehrstimmige Chorsatzgesang wurde eines der Markenzeichen der GOLD MINERS.
AUFTRITTE (derzeit nicht aktuell):
Wir spielen gern in mittleren und kleineren Konzertsälen, Open Air oder auch im Wohnzimmer (Sofa-Konzerte). Der direkte Kontakt zu unserem Publikum ist uns wichtig. Bucht uns HIER (oder unter 'Kontakt') für Feiern im Freundeskreis, in der Familie, für runde oder unrunde Geburtstage und sonstige Feste und Events, auf denen man noch ein Ohr für 'unplugged and handmade music' hat... HISTORY:
Michael met his old friend Bernd at a photo exhibition in 2014. The conversation somehow came down to the music and they first made a non-binding meeting to 'play'. The duo initially took on Dylan and Beatles songs. The interplay and the two-part singing were fun and you dared to try other classics by Simon and Garfunkel, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young or the Kinks and others. Johannes came from the jazz scene and added his virtuoso guitar, violin and bass playing to the line-up. The first small, successful appearances at exhibitions and big birthdays confirmed the concept. As an Irish folk singer and versatile instrumentalist, Michi expanded the repertoire considerably. The polyphonic choral setting Repertoire became one of the trademarks of the GOLD MINERS.
PERFORMANCE:
We like to play in medium-sized and smaller concert halls, open air or in the living room (sofa concerts). Direct contact with our audience is important to us. L'HISTOIRE:
Michael a rencontré son vieil ami Bernd lors d'une exposition de photos en 2014. La conversation s'est en quelque sorte résumée à la musique et ils ont d'abord organisé une réunion non contraignante pour «jouer». Le duo a d'abord repris des chansons de Dylan et des Beatles. L'interaction et le chant en deux parties étaient amusants et on a osé essayer d'autres classiques de Simon et Garfunkel, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young ou les Kinks et autres. une. Johannes est venu de la scène jazz et a ajouté sa guitare virtuose, son violon et sa basse au line-up. Les premières petites apparitions réussies dans les expositions et les anniversaires marquants ont confirmé le concept. En tant que chanteuse folk irlandaise et instrumentiste polyvalente, Michi a considérablement élargi le répertoire Repertoire. Le cadre choral polyphonique est devenu l'une des marques de fabrique des GOLD MINERS.
PERFORMANCE:
Nous aimons jouer dans des salles de concert de taille moyenne et plus petite, en plein air ou dans le salon (canapé-concerts). Le contact direct avec notre public est important pour nous.
